The chaps at BAFTA HQ have been in contact with us to give us a heads up that they’ve just posted this brand new video footage from the 2010 David Lean Lecture at BAFTA HQ where legendary director, Peter Weir spoke. Weir recently released his new movie, The Way Back and has also been responsible for Master and Commander and The Truman Show and is absolutely one of the best directors in the world today.

Summary from BAFTA: In this 2010 annual David Lean lecture, director of distinction and finesse; Peter Weir, discusses the film industry today. He offers insight into his own style along with advice to first time directors. On this page you will find resources to compliment the lecture videos including the event brochure, photography and a filmography of Weir’s work introduced by the director.
