Taron Egerton is set to lead the cast of the razor-sharp, original comedy thriller ‘EVERYBODY WANTS TO F*CK ME,’ written and directed by Jonathan Schey (Ladhood). The film, set in London and exploring the chaotic world of modern dating, has been described as a wild and subversive take on the genre.

Joining Egerton is Jessica Henwick (Glass Onion, The Matrix Resurrections), whose casting was announced today. Production is scheduled to begin in London this November.

STUDIOCANAL will launch worldwide sales at the upcoming American Film Market (AFM), with plans for a theatrical release in their territories, including the UK & Ireland, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Benelux, and Poland.

Casting is being led by Kharmel Cochrane (Wuthering Heights, Saltburn, Nosferatu).

The film is fully financed by STUDIOCANAL and Film4, with Ron Halpern, Joe Naftalin, and Isobel Carter overseeing for STUDIOCANAL, and Farhana Bhula and David Kimbangi overseeing for Film4. Film4 also developed the script.

Production companies Parkville Pictures (Polite Society, Finding Emily) and LuckyChap Entertainment (Barbie, Saltburn, Promising Young Woman) will produce the film. Cecilia Frugiuele and Olivier Kaempfer are producing for Parkville Pictures, with STUDIOCANAL and Film4 supporting throughout.
