The Five-Year Engagement posterAfter getting a great new red-band trailer at the start of the week for The Five-Year Engagement, starring Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, we now have a new featurette that invites you to take a look inside the film.

Due out in US cinemas this Friday, the r-rated comedy-romance sees Segel reteaming with frequent collaborator Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall), co-writing the script together with Stoller directing.

“The director and writer/star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall reteam for the irreverent comedy The Five-Year Engagement. Beginning where most romantic comedies end, the new film from director Nicholas Stoller, producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Rodney Rothman (Get Him to the Greek) looks at what happens when an engaged couple, Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle.”

Produced by Judd Apatow, the film also stars Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation), Alison Brie (Community), and Jacki Weaver (Animal Kingdom), and by all means looks like it should be a lot of fun.

The US is getting this a bit sooner than us, with its release across the Atlantic coming this weekend, 27th April. Here in the UK, we can look forward to seeing it in a little under two months, with its release set for 22nd June. Until then, here’s your Look Inside. And if you’d like to see it in HD, you can click over to Apple, who had this first.
