All this week, we’ve had interviews from the cast of the brand new J.J. Abrams’ directed movie, Super 8 which hits UK cinemas today. If you’ve missed it, you can read our review here and see all our coverage here. Today is the last of those interviews and it ends on a high talking with the director of the movie, Abrams himself. The interview is conducted by Hilary Oliver.

In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

In the interview, we hear how J.J. felt when he first spoke with Steven Spielberg who produced the movie, what sort of movies he watched while growing up, and how he used to make movies during his childhood.
