The highly anticipated trailer for Zack Snyder’s fantasy action adventure, Sucker Punch, has finally been released online. Let me quickly explain the trailer in a nutshell: It is hot chicks kicking ass in an epic fantasy world full of samurai, dragons, and tons of bullet shells…and it sounds like my kind of movie.
Keeping to his trademark style of dark films packed with action and artistic CGI, Snyder has managed to give us a terrific look at the direction of his movie and how fast paced he plans on making it. When you compare this trailer to his prior action flicks, 300 and The Watchmen, it makes me think that this won’t just be a regular ride, but one full of adrenaline. The only thing we had to go on was the character posters, which didn’t really give us a whole lot in terms of the type of war to expect, but I can now honestly say that this really looks like a kick ass ride headed by six female action heroes ready to destroy something.
The film stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Carla Gugino, Jon Hamm, Scott Glenn and Oscar Isaac
