In a Captain America: The Winter Soldier themed comic book movie news round-up, we have Paolo Rivera’s stunning cast and crew poster for the highly anticipated sequel, along with new TV spots, stills, and more.

1950sCapFirstly, screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely were recently asked (via Den of Geek) what fans should expect from Captain America 3, and revealed that we should perhaps expect to see their take on Steve Rogers’ 1950s replacement, a man who loses his mind and later targets the original super soldier in the present day.

“We’ve definitely set out on a more realistic road in the Cap movies, you know. Even more grounded than in the other MCU movies. And so it kind of rules out Cap fighting the Dinosaur Man or something like that. There are some that aren’t gonna start and other ones that — I mean there’s a couple we’re playing with right now that we really want to take elements from. Which we’ll not reveal. All I’m saying is psychotic 1950s Cap.”

For those of you who may not be familiar with Rivera, he’s provided interior artwork for titles like The Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil at Marvel, as well as covers for a variety of comic books such as Guardians of the Galaxy and DC’s Superman: Action Comics. He previously created cast and crew exclusive posters for Captain America: The First Avenger and Iron Man 3, and below you can see his beautiful take on Captain America: The Winter Soldier!
