In one of the night’s biggest surprises, the stars of ‘Street Fighter’ stormed The Game Awards stage to unveil the first-ever sneak peek at the highly anticipated live-action adaptation.

Set in 1993, the film finds estranged warriors Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo) pulled back into a world they thought they’d left behind. Their uneasy reunion is triggered by the arrival of the enigmatic Chun-Li (Callina Liang), who recruits them into the next World Warrior Tournament — a brutal global contest where fate is as unforgiving as the fists flying across the arena.

But beneath the spectacle lies something far more sinister. The teaser hints at a shadowy conspiracy that forces Ryu and Ken not only to fight legendary opponents, but also to confront the demons that once tore their bond apart. If they fail? As the trailer teases: “It’s GAME OVER.”

Director Kitao Sakurai (Bad Trip) brings razor-sharp style and punchy energy to the beloved franchise, assembling a cast that blends action talent, screen charisma, and fan-favorite personalities. The ensemble includes:

  • Noah Centineo as Ken

  • Andrew Koji as Ryu

  • Callina Liang as Chun-Li

  • Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i as Akuma

  • David Dastmalchian as M. Bison

  • Cody Rhodes as Guile

  • Andrew Schulz as Dan

  • Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim

  • Orville Peck as Vega

  • Olivier Richters as Zangief

  • Rayna Vallandingam as Juli

  • Mel Jarson as Cammy

  • Jason Momoa as Blanka — who also serves as a producer

The sneak peek showcased signature moves, character reveals, and nods to the original game— from Vega’s gleaming mask to Guile’s iconic stance.
