Netflix has officially dropped the long-awaited teaser trailer for the fifth and final season of ‘Stranger Things,’ and it’s a chilling, action-packed glimpse into the darkest chapter yet. Set in the fall of 1987, the trailer teases an emotionally charged endgame as the people of Hawkins face a town under siege, from within and without.
Scarred by the catastrophic opening of the Rifts, Hawkins has been placed under military quarantine, with soldiers swarming the streets and the government intensifying its hunt for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), forcing her back into hiding. Meanwhile, Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) — defeated, but not destroyed — has disappeared, and his ominous silence leaves our heroes bracing for a threat more powerful than anything they’ve faced before.

As the anniversary of Will Byers’ (Noah Schnapp) original disappearance approaches, an eerie sense of déjà vu sets in. The trailer pulses with dread and determination as Eleven, Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max (Sadie Sink), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Steve (Joe Keery), Robin (Maya Hawke), and the rest of the gang reunite for one final mission: find Vecna and end the nightmare — once and for all.
Winona Ryder and David Harbour return as Joyce Byers and Jim Hopper, joined by familiar faces and a few intriguing new ones, including Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay and Alex Breaux as Lt. Akers. The ensemble cast also features Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Charlie Heaton.
The final season will be released in three parts:
-
Volume 1 premieres 27th November with four episodes
-
Volume 2 drops Boxing Day (26th December) with three episodes
-
The Finale arrives on New Year’s Day (1st January) — a massive closing chapter to the saga
All episodes will be available at 1AM GMT on their respective release dates.

Created by the Duffer Brothers and produced by Upside Down Pictures and 21 Laps Entertainment, Stranger Things 5 is executive produced by the Duffers, Shawn Levy, and Dan Cohen.
As the party assembles one last time, the stakes couldn’t be higher. The final battle is coming. And in Hawkins, nothing stays buried forever.

The beginning of the end starts this November.
