Netflix has surprisingly dropped a very early teaser trailer for the upcoming season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’ and it’s not looking good for poor Eleven.

The last time we saw the gang was back in 2019 in the finale of season 3 with the beloved Jim Hopper (David Harbour) seemingly dead, the Byers family leaving town and the Russians’ facility destroyed.

The cryptic teaser now depicts, an institute with what look like mini Elevens grouped together in preparation for a lesson before the camera pans down the prison-like corridor before stopping at door Eleven and a flash of Eleven’s eye behind bars and a voice stating “Eleven, are you listening”.

The voice is assumed to be Papa, a.k.a. Dr. Martin Brenner, the former scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy who raised test subjects at Hawkins Lab, including Eleven.

Back in February 2020, we got our first teaser that saw a visit to Russia unearthing the return of Hopper!

With production still underway, no broadcast date has been set.
