With the release of Season Two of FOX’s hit comic-book show The Gifted set to debut this weekend, we sat down with two of the show’s stars Stephen Moyer (Reed Strucker) and Natalie Alyn Lind (Lauren Strucker) to chat about all things mutants and X-Men.
With the explosive finale of the first season, which saw the show’s own “Civil War” coming to the fore, the sophomore season has big boots to fill but Moyer and Lind say that fans will not be disappointed with what is in-store this time around. They discuss the progression of their characters, a deep-delve into the X-Men mythology and whether, somewhere down the line, the show may be connected to the MCU with the Disney/20th Century Fox merger near completion.
