To celebrate the eagerly anticipated release of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which launches in cinemas this week, we had the pleasure of chatting with its incredible cast and director to learn about the new entry in the series.

First, chatting to Allan, Teague, and Durand, we talk ape school, the art of ape acting, the physical demands of the film, why the Apes series is so good at presenting relationships and characters like no others, the impact and legacy of the series and Andy Serkis and much more in between.

We also speak to director Wes Ball about his new film, how the job landed at his feet, how the pandemic helped in the planning of the film in unexpected ways, the future of the new series, why the films have always struck chords with audiences and the immense challenges of filming primarily on locations.
