The Ancient Evil? Dawn of the Jedi? Jar-Jar Has Left the Building? Nope… Star Wars Episode VII will be titled The Force Awakens.
At least according to a tweet from the official Star Wars account…

It’s certainly a better, and more crowd-pleasing, title than The Phantom Menace, which was revealed to an astonishing reaction of ‘Oh…really?’ back in the day. The Force Awakens is a typical Abrams title in that it suggests many things, specifically which side of the Force is awakening…
Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford are all returning to the Jedi for the continuation of George Lucas’ grand saga. John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver are just some of the newcomers to the SW universe and now that we’ve got the first big reveal there’s probably a lot more to come…
What do you think?
While we’re on Episode VII…
Here’s our interview with Daniel Radcliffe who went on set recently.
And Ex-Jedi Liam Neeson on the possibility of returning as Qui-Gon Jinn.
