Paramount+ has unveiled the trailer for ‘Star Trek: Section 31,’ in which Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh who returns to the franchise.
Yeoh reprises her ‘Star Trek: Discovery role’ as Emperor Philippa Georgiou, who joins a secret division of Starfleet. Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, she also must face the sins of her past.
The original movie will also show a young Georgiou (Miku Martineau), and how she rose to power in the mirror universe.
Written by Craig Sweeny and directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi, the cast also includes Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rahl, Sam Richardson, Sven Ruygrok, Robert Kazinsky, Humberly Gonzalez and James Hiroyuki Liao.
