Stags

Stags is a fun new show on Paramount+ that blends action and comedy in a way not too dissimilar to that of The Hangover series. But this time, we’re riffing on British stag dos – which opens up a whole world of potential disaster for our leading characters. Two of which we had the pleasure of speaking to, chatting to the stag himself, played by Nico Mirallegro, alongside Paul Forman.

We discuss their own experiences on stag dos, and what they make of our stag-do culture in Britain. They also talk about how much fun they had making the show, collaborating with other talented comedic actors such as Charlie Cooper and Asim Chaudhry…

Synopsis

Groom-to-be Stu (Nico Mirallegro: Passenger) and his friends on his stag do in South America. What was meant to be a week of drink, debauchery and fun takes a dark turn. Instead of boarding a flight back to the UK, the stags are sent to a lawless prison island run by two warring siblings. Quickly it becomes clear that the stags need to pick a side to have any chance of survival. Friendships are tested and life-long loyalty is sacrificed as Stu and his mates begin to question who will make it home alive.

STAGS launches on the 15th August exclusively on Paramount+.
