Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman is just one week away from making its big screen debut, and I don’t know about you, but I know what I’ll be seeing in the cinema next week.

Kristen Stewart leads the charge as an epic Joan of Arc-esque Snow White, with Charlize Theron playing the evil Queen Ravenna, and Chris Hemsworth taking the role of The Huntsman.

Adding to all the brilliant things we’ve seen so far (which you can catch up on here), Yahoo Movies have debuted a great new interactive trailer that lets you learn more about the film, taking you behind the scenes and leading you to other videos and galleries whilst you watch.

“In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar(r) winner Charlize Theron) out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power. The breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale is from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland, producer Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders.”

Rupert Sanders looks to have made a very impressive directorial debut here, working from a script co-written by Hossein Amini (Drive) and Evan Daugherty (also making his debut), with the supporting cast headed up by the great array of Sam Claflin, Nick Frost, Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Lily Cole, and Bob Hoskins.

Snow White and the Huntsman will be released in the UK next Wednesday, 30th May, before going across the Atlantic two days later for a Friday release on 1st June. Make sure you catch it on the big screen where it deserves to be seen; it looks like it should be pretty damn awesome. Here’s the new trailer to prove it. Enjoy.
