The latest big screen outing for the lovable Blue-hued Sumurfs is out in cinemas today, and we had the chance to sit down with the film’s director and main cast to talk all this Smurf. Directed by Chris Miller; starring Rihanna (Smurfette), John Goodman (Papa Smurf), James Corden (No Name), Nick Offerman, JP Karliak, Dan Levy, Amy Sedaris, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer, Nick Kroll, Hannah Waddingham, Alex Winter, Maya Ersine, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña, and Kurt Russell.

Enough yakking! Here are the smurfing interviews.

The wonderful DaniElle DeLaite sat down with legends John Goodman and Nick Offerman as they bring their iconic voices (and a good dose of mischief) to the colourful world of the Smurfs in this hilarious and heartwarming interview. From their unique voice acting methods (including painted bodies and alley fights… yes, really) to why the Smurfs have stood the test of time, this conversation is as charming as it is unexpected.

From karate kicks to cartoon quips, Cobra Kai star Xolo Maridueña brings a whole new kind of energy to the world of The Smurfs as the voice of Brainy Smurf! In this exclusive interview, Xolo shares what it’s like stepping into the recording booth instead of the dojo, getting physical behind the mic, and how much he’s grown (and laughed) through his first full animation experience.

From his early obsession with the 1980s TV show and original comics, to designing a world that’s both nostalgic and cinematic, Miller shares the inspiration, the voice casting magic, and the joyful chaos of bringing these iconic characters to life.
