Apple TV has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Slow Horses’ season 6, with the Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning spy drama returning for another dangerous mission involving Jackson Lamb and the dysfunctional agents of Slough House.

Starring Academy Award winner Gary Oldman as the brilliant but cantankerous Jackson Lamb, the sixth season finds the Slow Horses caught in a deadly game of retaliation and revenge after Diana Taverner sets events in motion that put the entire team in serious danger.

Based on Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh novels in Mick Herron’s CWA Gold Dagger Award-winning Slough House book series, Slow Horses follows a group of British intelligence agents who have been relegated to Slough House, MI5’s dumping ground for spies whose career-ending mistakes have left them on the sidelines.

Of course, being sent to Slough House rarely means staying out of trouble.

With the Slow Horses once again caught up in the smoke and mirrors of the intelligence world, Jackson Lamb and his team are forced to fight their way through a conspiracy where the stakes are higher than ever.

Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run, as Diana Taverner embroils them in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge. For a team that already has a talent for making disastrous situations considerably worse, their latest assignment looks set to push them to the limit.

Oldman leads an ensemble cast that includes Academy Award nominee Kristin Scott Thomas, Emmy Award nominee Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, BAFTA Award nominee Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, BAFTA Award nominee Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Academy Award nominee Jonathan Pryce and Hugo Weaving.

BAFTA Award winner Lenny Rush joins the cast as a new addition for the sixth season, while Olivia Cooke reprises her role as Sidonie “Sid” Baker.

The series continues to be produced for Apple TV by See-Saw Films, with Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Adam Randall, Gail Mutrux, Douglas Urbanski and Gary Oldman serving as executive producers.
