Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled a formidable new wave of casting for its upcoming Prime Video series ‘Tomb Raider,’ expanding the world around iconic adventurer Lara Croft.
As previously announced, the series is headlined by Sophie Turner as Lara Croft, the world-famous archaeologist and thrill-seeking explorer. The show is created and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who also serves as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Chad Hodge. Drawing from the hugely influential ‘Tomb Raider’ video game franchise, the series promises a globe-trotting adventure steeped in danger, discovery, and character-driven intrigue.
Among the newly revealed cast, several actors step directly into canon roles from the Tomb Raider games, grounding the series firmly in franchise lore:

Martin Bobb-Semple as Zip, Lara Croft’s long-standing tech support and trusted friend.

Jason Isaacs as Atlas DeMornay, Lara’s uncle, a figure whose presence hints at complicated family history.
