Universal Pictures has released the brand-new trailer for ‘Sense and Sensibility,’ offering audiences a new look at an elegant and emotionally resonant reimagining of one of Jane Austen’s most beloved novels.
From Focus Features and Working Title, ‘Sense and Sensibility’ delivers a fresh interpretation of Austen’s timeless story, blending romance, wit and heartfelt family drama for a new generation. The film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles as the Dashwood sisters, whose contrasting approaches to love and life lie at the heart of the enduring classic.
Directed by Georgia Oakley, Daisy Edgar-Jones takes on the role of Elinor Dashwood, whose practicality and restraint often mask deep emotions. At the same time, Esmé Creed-Miles portrays the passionate and impulsive Marianne Dashwood. Together, they anchor a story that explores the bonds of sisterhood and the different ways people experience love and loss.
The film also boasts a supporting cast that includes Caitríona Balfe, Frank Dillane, George MacKay, Herbert Nordrum, Bodhi Rae Breathnach and Fiona Shaw.
