20th Century Studios has unveiled the first trailer for ‘Send Help,’ the upcoming darkly comedic psychological thriller from genre-bending visionary Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, The Evil Dead).
At the centre of the story are Linda Liddle (Oscar® and Tony Award® nominee Rachel McAdams, Spotlight, Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.) and Bradley Preston (Dylan O’Brien, Twinless, Saturday Night), two colleagues who become the sole survivors of a plane crash. Stranded on a remote, uninhabited island, they’re forced to rely on each other to stay alive — but their uneasy alliance quickly devolves into a battle of egos, secrets, and sanity.
As the trailer unfolds, flashes of pitch-black humour cut through the island’s isolation: Linda and Bradley come to the haunting realisation that help might never come. What begins as a fight for survival soon spirals into a darkly funny psychological showdown.
The film also stars Edyll Ismail (La Brea), Dennis Haysbert (Far from Heaven), Xavier Samuel (Elvis), Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), Thaneth Warakulnukroh (Thai Cave Rescue), and Emma Raimi (Happy Pills).
