Saoirse Ronan & More Join Effie

According to Production Weekly, Saoirse Ronan, Orlando Bloom, Imelda Staunton, Greg Wise and Emma Thompson will star in Effie.

Effie – from a script by Thompson herself – is based on the relationship between Victorian poet, John Ruskin (Wise) and his unfortunate wife Effie Gray (Ronan).

Richard Laxton (An Englishman in New York) will direct.
