Samuel L. Jackson has been cast in the upcoming ‘Tulsa King’ spin-off at Paramount+. Jackson is also set to executive produce.
The series, which is titled NOLA King, will be set in New Orleans. Plot details are currently under wraps. However, Jackson’s segue into the series will be set up by a guest-starring appearance in the upcoming third season of the Taylor Sheridan series.

Dave Erickson, who currently works with Sheridan on both ‘Tulsa King’ and ‘Mayor of Kingstown,’ will serve as writer, showrunner, and executive producer on ‘NOLA King.’ Sheridan will also executive produce, as will David C. Glasser of 101 Studios. MTV Entertainment Studios will produce.
Season 3 of ‘Tulsa King’ is currently in production in Atlanta and Oklahoma. Stallone stars in “Tulsa King” as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mobster who is exiled to Oklahoma by his former family after serving 25 years in prison. Once there, he quickly establishes himself in the criminal underworld and builds his own crew.
