Russell Crowe - Man of Steel

We’re halfway through our Man of Steel takeover day and now it’s time for Jor-El as played by the brilliant Russell Crowe.  In the interview conducted by James Kleinmann, we get to hear what Crowe thought of the Krypton built for his character, how it was that sort of journey that attracted him to the project in the first place. Crowe also talks about how he had no interest in Superman before receiving David S. Goyer’s script, how it drew him into the movie and ended him up with the role as Jor-El. James asks what Crowe’s sons thought of him being in a Superman movie and how excited they were for it!

Crowe ends the interview talking about visiting a school and giving a signed photo to Henry Cavill (who plays Superman in Man of Steel) years ago and how that signed photo kept him going through the years until Man of Steel was made.

If you missed our previous interviews so far, make sure you click here for interviews with Director Zack Snyder and cast members Ayelet Zurer and Antje Traue and Michael Shannon who plays Zod.

Man of Steel is released in the UK 14th June.
