MUBI has released the official trailer for ‘Rosebush Pruning,’ the latest cinematic offering from acclaimed filmmaker Karim Aïnouz (Motel Destino, Firebrand, Invisible Life).
Fresh from its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, the film arrives wrapped in intrigue, sun-soaked decadence, and razor-edged satire.
Set beneath the blazing Catalonian sun, Rosebush Pruning follows a wealthy American family living in lavish isolation, cocooned in privilege and performance. Their world revolves around designer aesthetics, curated identities, and an almost theatrical dependence on one another for validation.
But paradise has a weak seam.
When an outsider slips into their gilded orbit, long-buried tensions begin to crack the surface. What starts as subtle unease spirals into emotional chaos, exposing fractures in loyalty, identity, and power. Blood ties, once assumed unbreakable, begin to unravel with surgical precision.
The film boasts a powerhouse ensemble, led by Callum Turner and Riley Keough, alongside Jamie Bell, Lukas Gage, Elena Anaya, Tracy Letts, Elle Fanning and Pamela Anderson.
