After 20 years away from our TV screens The Connors are making a comeback in the revived series Roseanne. During last nights Oscars ABC took the advantage of sharing a new trailer for what we can expect to see on its return.
The comedy series, which was a staple diet of those that grew up during the 90’s, originally ran between 1988 to 1997 for nine seasons. It followed the working class family, the Connors on the trials and tribulations of their everyday lives. It starred Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf and Sara Gilbert who all make a return for the nine-episode new series.
It was also home to the first pairing of Sara Gilbert and Johnny Galecki, who have since gone on to star in The Big Bang Theory together, even having a brief on-off relationship. Sources say that Galecki will be making a guest appearance in the all-new tenth season.
Barr, Sara Gilbert, Tom Werner, Bruce Helford, Whitney Cummings, and Tony Hernandez are executive producers for Carsey-Werner Television.
The show is due to premiere on ABC on March 27th.
