The Xbox 360 version of Max Payne 3 will come with two discs, Rockstar has confirmed this through twitter.
The news originally came from US rental service redbox, who had listed that the game would come with two discs, with only the first disc being delivered to subs which was listed to have the single player portion with no working multiplayer.
Rockstar has confirmed that Max Payne 3 will ship out with two discs, saying that the first disc contains the first half of the single player and the full multiplayer portion on the game.
That Redbox info is not accurate. Redbox only ever rent out one disc, for any multi-disc game.
It said in a tweet.
Max is on 2 discs for 360, so Redbox will be renting disc 1 which contains half of the single player story and the full multiplayer game.
Max Payne 3 Launches 15 May in the US and head over to Europe 18 May for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The PC version will launch on May 29 and June 1.
