The second trailer featuring Taron Egerton as the saviour of the poor, Robin Hood, has finally been released. The age-old tale has had a(nother) revamp for the 21st Century, coming at a time we all need a real-life Robin.

Based on the tale of Robin Hood, it is directed by Otto Bathurst (Peaky Blinders & Black Mirror) and stars Taron Egerton, Jamie Foxx, Jamie Dornan, Eve Hewson and Tim Minchin.

The newest version of the poor man’s hero stars Taron Egerton as Robin Hood, Jamie Foxx as little John, the leader of the outlaw’s group Merry Men, Jamie Dornan as Will Scarlett, half-brother of Hood, member of Merry Men, and husband of Marian, Eve Hewson as Maid Marian, Tim Minchin as Friar Tuck. Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham and Paul Anderson as Guy of Gisburne.

Producers include Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Production companies are DiCaprio’s Appian Way, Safehouse Pictures, and Thunder Road Pictures.
