MGM+ has unveiled the premiere date and the official teaser trailer for the reimagined adventure drama series ‘Robin Hood.’ The 10-episode series will launch with a special two-episode premiere on Sunday, 2nd November in the U.K.

The series dives into the aftermath of the Norman invasion of England, where Rob – a Saxon forester’s son – rises as the leader of a rebel band in Sherwood Forest. Alongside him is Marian, the daughter of a Norman lord, whose cunning and bravery see her infiltrating power at court. Together, they risk everything to challenge royal corruption, fight for justice, and kindle an epic love story that defies class and conquest.

The teaser offers glimpses of sweeping battles, clandestine encounters, and the intoxicating chemistry between Rob and Marian, teasing a romance as fiery as the rebellion itself. With a focus on psychological depth and historical authenticity, this adaptation of ‘Robin Hood’ appears poised to strike a balance between thrilling action and a rich emotional core.

The cast is led by Jack Patten as Rob and Lauren McQueen as Marian, alongside Sean Bean as the formidable Sheriff of Nottingham. Lydia Peckham joins them as Priscilla of Nottingham, Steven Waddington as the Earl of Huntingdon, and Connie Nielsen as Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Behind the scenes, John Glenn, Jonathan English (who also directs), and Todd Lieberman of Hidden Pictures executive produce the series.
