Embedded in HD below is a two minute sneak peek at Predators, reboot of the original Predator films. The film is produced by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nimrod Antal and stars Adrien Brody and Laurence Fishburne. The sneak peek was also shown at the SXSW festival last night in the US and was posted on the Predators official site. There is a trailer being release on the 18th of March which HeyUGuys will be posting as soon as it is released.
Here’s the official synopsis: PREDATORS, a bold new chapter in the Predator universe, shot under the creative auspices of Robert Rodriguez, stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realise they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the notable exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers – mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members – human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien predators.
The sneak peek looks pretty cool but it’s hard to determine too much about the film from what has been released. I’m looking forward to seeing the trailer later this week which will hopefully give us a better look at some of the action.
Predators is released in America on July 9th and in the UK 11th August.
