It was revealed this weekend that the next Force Friday will be on September 30th, so that’s the day to mark in your calendar for when you’ll be able to get your hands on all the great new toys based on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. We have lots to look forward to before then though, including the first first trailer (that’s expected with Captain America: Civil War).
Talking to HeyUGuys on the BAFTA Awards red carpet earlier this evening, Four Lions star Riz Ahmed gave us an idea about what we should expect from the highly anticipated Anthology movie, describing it as having an “incredible organic, loose, and raw feeling” which offers a “fresh pair of eyes on a familiar world” in what definitely sounds like a full on war movie.
Not a huge amount is known about Rogue One as of right now of course, but it’s shaping up to be every bit as exciting as Star Wars: The Force Awakens was last year. It was previously revealed that the Gareth Edwards (who is also talked about in detail in the video above) helmed release will focus on a group who set out to steal the plans to the first Death Star.
