Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming heartfelt drama ‘Remarkably Bright Creatures,’ offering a glimpse into a touching story of grief, friendship and unexpected connection. The film, directed by Olivia Newman, is based on the beloved bestselling novel of the same name and will premiere on the streaming platform on May 8.
At the centre of the story is a widow who has settled into a quiet life working at a local aquarium. Her world slowly begins to brighten when she forms an unusual bond with a remarkably intelligent giant Pacific octopus. When a troubled young man arrives in town searching for answers about his family, the pair become entwined in a mystery that may reveal long-buried truths. The film stars Academy Award-winner Sally Field alongside Lewis Pullman, Colm Meaney, Joan Chen, Kathy Baker, Beth Grant, Sofia Black-D’Elia and Alfred Molina.
