Having created a distinctly impressive new take on the zombie craze with their first person perspective horror films [REC] and the immediate sequel [REC]2 directors Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza decided to split up and embellish the series with a beginning and an end.
The first of these, [REC]3: Genesis, takes place at the same time as the first two films and knowledge of those is preferable, though not essential as this is a standalone zombie film with hints at the broader mythology the series is based on.
We have a couple of fun things for you today, the first being a neat motion poster featuring the blood-splattered bride and her chainsaw and the second is an exclusive behind the scenes look at the production – it is entitled: The Gore and is such not exactly safe for work… enjoy!
