Searchlight UK has revealed a brand new trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and the sequel wastes no time throwing audiences back into velvet-draped terror and blood-soaked survival.
Picking up moments after Grace’s brutal clash with the Le Domas family, the film finds Samara Weaving’s battle-hardened bride stepping into an even darker chapter. This time, she is not alone. Her estranged sister Faith, played by Kathryn Newton, is pulled into the chaos as Grace discovers she has advanced to the next level of a sinister, world-controlling game.
To survive the night, Grace must protect her sister and seize the High Seat of the Council, a throne coveted by four rival families who are now hunting her. Power, legacy, and survival collide in a lethal contest where only one victor will rule it all.
Weaving reprises her role as Grace in the follow-up directed by returning filmmaking duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The expanding ensemble brings fresh danger and intrigue, with Newton joined by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, and Elijah Wood. Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, and David Cronenberg also feature, rounding out the cast.
