A SXSW teaser trailer for Zeek Earl and Chris Caldwell’s sci-fi alien western feature, Prospect, has been released ahead of its premiere on March 10th.
The film is based on Zeek Earl and Chris Caldwell’s short of the same name which debuted at SXSW in 2014 which will now make its feature debut at SXSW 2018

Written and Directed by Zeek Earl and Chris Caldwell, the film stars Sophie Thatcher, Pedro Pascal, Jay Duplass, Andre Royo, Sheila Vand, and Anwan Glover.
The film premieres on March 10 at 12:45 PM at Alamo Lamar D.
Prospect Official Synopsis
A teenage girl and her father travel to a remote alien moon, aiming to strike it rich. They’ve secured a contract to harvest a large deposit of the elusive gems hidden in the depths of the moon’s toxic forest. But there are others roving the wilderness and the job quickly devolves into a fight to survive. Forced to contend not only with the forest’s other ruthless inhabitants but with her own father’s greed-addled judgment, the girl finds she must carve her own path to escape.
