Pretty Red Dress impressed audiences last Autumn at the London Film Festival, and is now making its way to cinemas across the UK, and it’s a musical-drama that deserves to be seen. To mark the film’s release, we had the pleasure in speaking to the two leading stars, Alexandra Burke and Natey Jones, as well as the director Dionne Edwards.
It’s worth noting that these interviews took place a day or two prior to the passing of the icon that is Tina Turner, but needless to say even before the sad news came in, we still discussed the merit of her work, and how it compliments this narrative, and for Burke, just the sheer pleasure of having the opportunity to perform it on screen.
