I’ve yet to be caught up in the whirlwind of anticipation which is currently ripping its way around the internet for Marvel’s next big thing, namely Captain America: The First Avenger, however I can’t deny there’s some impressive imagery on offer in the slew of trailers we’ve seen. I am clearly in a minority.
With this is mind I’m posting a new TV spot with the requisite new footage and a load of trading card scans from the film, one of which has Dominic Cooper as Iron Man’s Dad looking like ‘Q’ handing Steve Rogers a certain shield.
Captain America: The First Avenger will be with us in a month and is directed by Joe Johnston, starring Chris Evans, Tommy Lee Jones, Hugo Weaving, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones, Neal McDonough, Derek Luke and Stanley Tucci – many of whom can be seen below.
Monsieur Connelly of Bleeding Cool fame gave a warning that this TV spot does spoil the film’s opening but if you’re wary of spoilers I don’t see why you clicked here in the first place. Click with caution nonetheless.
