Produced by Plimsoll Productions, the series sees actor Tom Hiddleston return to documentary storytelling alongside Kevin R. Wright, reuniting the creative team behind Loki for a genre-blending exploration of one of history’s most infamous disasters.
Blending scripted drama with investigative documentary, the series transports viewers back to ancient Pompeii in the critical hours before and during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
Guided by a team of archaeologists, historians, geologists, and disaster experts, Hiddleston uncovers new evidence that challenges long-held assumptions about the tragedy.
