Amazon MGM Studios has released the first trailer for its upcoming comedy ‘Playdate,’ where an innocent afternoon between two stay-at-home dads goes completely off the rails.
Starring Kevin James (The King of Queens, Here Comes the Boom) and Alan Ritchson (Reacher, Blue Mountain State), the movie is directed by Luke Greenfield (The Girl Next Door, Half Brothers).
In ‘Playdate,’ Brian (James) agrees to meet fellow dad Jeff (Ritchson) for a casual afternoon playdate with their sons. What begins as small talk and snacks quickly spirals into absolute chaos, as the dads find themselves in a series of increasingly wild misadventures that put their parenting—and their sanity—to the test.
The cast also includes Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers), Alan Tudyk (Resident Alien), Sarah Chalke (Scrubs), Benjamin Pajak (Blue Bloods), Banks Pierce, Hiro Kanagawa (Upload), and Stephen Root (Barry).
