We’ve recently stepped back into Gotham City to look into the origin of one of the fictional landscape’s finest of villains in Joker. But now we’re going back once again to look into someone who is somewhat less unhinged, but surprisingly, still has some story to tell. That’s right, it’s Alfred Pennyworth, the now venerable butler to the Wayne family. This series takes a look at his youth, and how he came to be where he is today.
Playing Alfred is Jack Bannon, with Ben Aldridge as Thomas Wayne. Then, the wonderful Paloma Faith taps into her darker side to portray the series’ villain Bet Sykes. We had the pleasure of sitting down with all three of them when in London promoting the series – and you can watch the full interview below:
