Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Man on the Run,’ an intimate and revealing new documentary tracing Paul McCartney’s extraordinary journey after the breakup of The Beatles.

From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom, Won’t You Be My Neighbour?), ‘Man on the Run’ explores McCartney’s life and creative rebirth as he formed Wings with his wife, Linda, and forged a solo career that would define a new decade.

Through unprecedented access to never-before-seen footage and rare archival material, the film captures McCartney at his most candid — navigating loss, fame, and reinvention while shaping some of the most iconic music of the 1970s.

Presented by Amazon MGM Studios, Man on the Run also marks the centrepiece of a wide-ranging new partnership between Paul McCartney, Universal Music Group, and Amazon. The year-long collaboration will feature exclusive music releases, limited-edition merchandise drops via Amazon Music and McCartney’s official Amazon store, as well as original commentary from McCartney himself.

The documentary’s release coincides with a wave of companion projects, including McCartney’s new book ‘Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run’ (available on Amazon and Audible November 4), ‘WINGS’ — the definitive self-titled collection arriving on streaming and limited-edition vinyl November 7—and his ‘Got Back’ North American tour dates this autumn.
