To celebrate the eagerly-anticipated release of P-Valley’s second season, returning to STARZ this month, we reunited with the show’s incredible cast and creator to find out all about
The series is a kaleidoscopic story of a little-strip-club-that-could located down deep in America’s Mississippi Delta, and the big characters who enter its doors. This season takes us deeper into the lives of the Pynk’s beloved characters as darkness descends upon Chucalissa, revealing a whole new Pynk as it struggles to remain open during a pandemic, a battle for the throne and the possibility of some new blood shaking up the locker room.
We chat once more with showrunner Katori Hall, Brandee Evans (Mercedes), Nicco Annan (Uncle Clifford), Elarica Johnson (Autumn Night), J. Alphonse Nicholson (Lil’ Murda) and Shannon Thornton (Keyshawn) about second season syndrome, the impact of the first season and their new fanbase, social media and celebrity fans and the positive impact the show has had on the communities and people it highlights.
