Netflix’s historical saga Outlaw King came to the capital this evening for a UK debut at the 2018 London Film Festival. The Netflix Original Film tells the story of the David and Goliath battle between the Scottish and English armies in the 1300s.

The film played very well in Toronto and you can see our interviews from that red carpet below, as well as the highlights of the TIFF press conference with Chris Pine, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and director David Mackenzie. During tonight’s premiere interviews both director David MacKenzie and Producer Gillian Berrie talk about why they cut 22 minutes from the movie after it screened in Toronto.

The film stars Star Trek’s Captain Kirk Chris Pine as Robert The Bruce, Florence Pugh, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Game of Thrones’ Stephen Dillance, Tony Curran, James Cosmo, Callan Mulvey and Billy Howle.

Outlaw King is released on Netflix on the 9th of November, 2018. Our bravehearts Colin Hart and Scott Davis were on the carpet this evening – here’s how they got on.
