Here’s one for Orange customers and information on how you can get the Orange Film to Go this week. Every week, Orange will be doing their Film Night Live which is an online web streaming Q&A to coincide with the movie that they are giving away for nothing (I can’t use the word ‘free’ but essentially it’s for the price of a text) on iTunes. This will be happening every week on Thursday and has the catchy title, Film To Go (we don’t want to hear people calling it Orange Thursdays!). Each week at 8pm, there will be a live webcast which they call Film Night Live. We’ve teamed up with Orange to bring you the bradcast on the HeyUGuys Facebook page here.
This week, the movie being given away is SoulBoy starring 2010 movie starring Martin Compston, Felicity Jones, Alfie Allen, Nichola Burley, Pat Shortt and Huey Morgan. Orange customers can get the movie via the Orange website here by texting and receiving a code. The free download window is 00:01 Thursday morning to 23:59 Thursday night and download must begin within this time in order to be free.
Synopsis: It’s 1974 in the Midlands where power cuts, strikes and boot-boy aggro on the football terraces are the norm. Joe McCain (Martin Compston: The Disappearance of Alice Creed) and best friend Russ Mountjoy (Alfie Allen: Game of Thrones) are stuck in dead-end jobs and bored with lives going nowhere. That is until Joe meets Jane (Nichola Burley: Streetdance 3D), who introduces him to a whole new world of sound and movement and all-night dancing: the Wigan Casino, home of Northern Soul. Before long Joe finds himself caught between aspiring artist Mandy (Felicity Jones: Cemetery Junction), and Jane who is already involved with Alan (Craig Parkinson : Control, Four Lions), the undisputed king of the Northern Soul dance floor.
There’s a slight change in the Film Night Live this week (you don’t have to be an Orange customer for Film Night Live) as it’s set to take place at 1pm this afternoon rather than the usual 8pm slot which means you can watch during lunch time. Guests on the show today include SoulBoy Director Shimmy Marcus and one of the cast members of the movie, Nichola Burley so if you have questions to ask, make sure you get them in on the Facebook page asap.
