To celebrate the release of One Night in Miami, the new film coming to Amazon Prime later this week, we have the pleasure of sitting down with two of its ensemble cast to chat about the already critically-acclaimed drama.

One Night in Miami is a fictional account of one incredible night where icons Muhammad Ali (Eli Goree), Malcolm X (Kingsley Ben-Abir), Sam Cooke (Leslie Odom Jnr), and Jim Brown (Aldis Hodge) gathered discussing their roles in the civil rights movement and cultural upheaval of the 60s.

Directed by Oscar Regina King (If Beale Street Could Talk) and written by Kemp Powers, based on his play, One Night In Miami is a stirring, powerful and joyous film that delves into the history of America and the world, the power of dialogue and talking, the importance of democracy and a celebration of four men who helped change the world – and still are. Hodge and Goree echo all this about the film and tell us why the film is so timely, so important and so vital to our past, present, and future.
