Returning to the big screen for the first time in thirty years, Mad Max: Fury Road recasts its lead, previously played by Mel Gibson, in Tom Hardy, who has emerged recently as that rare kind of actor to win acclaim from mainstream and critical audiences alike.

Coming off the back of a highly successful year, in which he led Steven Knight’s masterful Locke, Michaël Roskam’s Dennis Lehane adaptation, The Drop, and returned to the small screen in Peaky Blinders Season 2, Hardy is set to have another brilliant year in 2015, and Fury Road is a big part of that.

And… Furiosa (played by CHARLIZE THERON from Prometheus), a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult top the leading line-up, joined by Zoë Kravitz, Riley Keough, Hugh Keays-Byrne, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

George Miller returns to the director’s chair for the fourth time in the series, directing from a script he co-wrote with Brendan McCarthy and
