Winning the Midnight Madness Award at TIFF last month, Seven Psychopaths arrives in theatres in the US this weekend, and the anticipation is riding high for Martin McDonagh’s reunion with his In Bruges star, Colin Farrell.

The film received fantastic reviews at its festival debut – you can read our review here – and with its release only a few days away, CBS have put out a great new trailer to give us more to look forward to.

“Written and Directed by Oscar(R)-winner Martin McDonagh, the comedy Seven Psychopaths follows a struggling screenwriter (Colin Farrell) who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends (Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell) kidnap a gangster’s (Woody Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu. Co-starring Abbie Cornish, Tom Waits, Olga Kurylenko and Zeljko Ivanek.”

Farrell stars alongside a fantastic cast, with Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Abbie Cornish, Olga Kurylenko, and Tom Waits completing the eponymous psychopathic cast brilliantly, with McDonagh once more directing from his own script.

Seven Psychopaths will be released in the US this Friday, 12th October, and will be heading to the UK for a 7th December release, following its debut on our shores at the BFI London Film Festival. I can’t wait. For now, here’s the new trailer, and be sure to catch it in theatres as soon as it arrives near you. Enjoy.
