As we get closer to the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War, the marketing campaigns for both should ramp up in a major way, and that’s begun today with the release of images of concession items for them both.

In the new Batman v Superman artwork, we once again see the Caped Crusader coming to blows in what looks set to be an epic battle as history is made when these two DC Comics icons meet on the big screen for the first time. Interestingly, there’s no sign of heroes like Aquaman and Wonder Woman here, a sign perhaps that the focus is being kept on these two.

The Captain America: Civil War images meanwhile utilise what will no doubt soon be a new poster for the first Phase 3 release as the two teams (#TeamCap = Captain America, The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, the Scarlet Witch, and The Falcon; #TeamStark = Iron Man, Black Panther, Black Widow, The Vision, and War Machine) clash in an epic fight of their own.

Of course, the biggest battle of 2016 won’t be between Batman and Superman or Captain America and Iron Man. Instead, it will be at the box office and critically as Marvel and DC Comics fans argue over which of these movies is better. It’s going to be very interesting…
