A24 has released the striking new trailer for ‘Mother Mary,’ the latest visionary project from acclaimed filmmaker David Lowery. Blending music, emotion, and raw character drama, the film teases an intimate yet explosive story set against the glittering backdrop of pop superstardom.

The trailer offers a haunting glimpse into the fractured relationship between global icon Mother Mary (Anne Hathaway) and her estranged best friend and former costume designer, Sam Anselm (Michaela Coel). As Mary prepares for a highly anticipated comeback performance, unresolved tensions and long-buried wounds resurface, threatening to unravel both her career and personal identity.

Adding to the film’s hypnotic pull is “My Mouth Is Lonely For You,” the mesmerising second single performed by Hathaway and written by FKA twigs.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast alongside Hathaway and Coel, including Hunter Schafer, Atheena Frizzell, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Alba Baptista, and Isaura Barbé-Brown, with Sian Clifford and FKA Twigs also featured.
