Well, as they say, the hits just keep on coming. We now have a further set of posters from IMP Awards and they are every bit as subtle and sophisticated as you would expect from a film about a man wielding all manner of bladed weapons.
We’ve got Machete himself, with more knives than you can shake a stick at, Robert De Niro ready with twin 9mm’s, Michelle Rodriguez with a gun the size of Old Painless in one hand and Lindsay Lohan, in a nun’s habit, licking the barrel of an absurdly proportioned six-shooter. Tasteful. Classy.
In all seriousness, this looks genuinely awesome. It ‘s funny to think of it growing out of a tongue-in-cheek faux-trailer from the Grindhouse films into a fully-fledged feature.
