Last week, Tom Cruise, finally joined Instagram with the sole purpose of dropping the name of the sixth instalment of the Mission Impossible franchise, Fallout. Since then, himself and members of the cast, Simon Pegg, Henry Cavill and Rebecca Ferguson have been doing the promotional rounds. Today, during the Superbowl, we finally got a chance to see the first trailer for the film.
The action-adventure sees Cruise reunite with director Christopher McQuarrie for the sixth outing of the series which also stars Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, Wes Bentley and Frederick Schmidt.
“Upping the Ante” The plot will see Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong, where all their pas good work could be brought into question.
Mission Impossible – Fallout will hit cinemas July 26th.
